Architect Jette Cathrin Hopp is the Director of Business Development and member of the executive management at the Norwegian architecture and design practice Snøhetta. With a wealth of experience in complex projects, she has led numerous endeavours both domestically and internationally. She frequently delivers lectures at architectural symposia, conferences, and international universities and leads juries for various architecture competitions and awards, including her role as President of the Jury for the Italian Architecture Prize. Beyond her professional commitments, she holds positions on the board of trustees for the Schelling Architecture Foundation and teaches at the University of Technology and Design, Wismar. Jette Hopp is actively involved in advisory capacities within the architectural community as a member of the Architecture Advisory Board of Oslo and chairing the Urban Design Advisory Board of Kiel. Her recent co-authored book, “New Work in Architecture”, with business psychologist Vera Starker, explores how architectural work must evolve to tackle complex design and transformation challenges, advocating for collaborative approaches and paradigm shifts in addressing climate, demographics, and societal changes.
